Traveling Mailbox can receive any size package and forward it to you anywhere in the world. We pass our shipping discounts directly to you. We guarantee that our shipping costs will be lower than any other competitor! View the Shipping Calculator.
Traveling Mailbox has a Climate Controlled and Access Controlled Warehouse for Packages that we receive. Our Warehouse is under video surveillance and your packages are encoded with RFID Barcodes so we can easily track and find your items when it comes to ship them.
Fee: $0.10 per lb per day after 30 days. (Your first 30 days of package storage in our warehouse are free!)
Traveling Mailbox holds the physical envelope items in our facility for free for 30 days. After 30 days, all mail is shredded on site that is not put on hold. Digital copies of your mail remain in your online mailbox until you delete them for free!
Fee to hold mail: $1 per envelope per month.

Setting up a Traveling Mailbox only takes a few minutes. Simply signup by clicking Get Started under a plan above, select your address, checkout and your new address will be issued within minutes.
No! We provide mailing addresses so anyone from any State may use our service. We provide multiple locations to choose from but most people use our home base location in Sanford, NC.
Additional mailbox recipients are other family members, individuals, or business names that you wish to receive mail under that particular name to your mailbox. For example, a husband and wife on an account would count towards two recipients on your account. Minors can be added to an account but do not count towards your recipient limit.
Traveling Mailbox stores all physical envelopes for up to 30 days for free. After 30 days, we automatically shred the physical envelopes on site for Free. If you wish for us to hold an envelope longer than 30 days, you can request a “Hold” on that item from within your virtual mailbox. We charge $1 per envelope per month to hold the physical copies beyond 30 days. Note: The digital scans of your envelopes and content PDF’s remain in your virtual mailbox until you delete them for free.
No! A Traveling Mailbox subscription is month to month or you can subscribe to an annual plan to get 2 months free. Annual plans are refundable on a monthly schedule.
Yes! A Traveling Mailbox can be used for a business and you can add business names to any of the plans above.
No! We scan every received envelope and upload it to your virtual mailbox and it does not count against your monthly page scan allotment. We do this so you can see what you receive and you can tell us what to do from there.
If you need a physical envelope forwarded to you, we can do this at any time and forward it anywhere in the world. We will forward as often as you need.
You can also setup an Auto-Forwarding schedule.
Mail Forwarding is available anywhere in the world. We ship via USPS, UPS, and Fedex. We simply charge Postage + $2 per shipment (not per item). So a shipment of 10 items is still Postage + $2 for all 10 items to be forwarded to you.
Unlike other providers, we do not charge for each open and scan that you request. Each plan includes a set amount of page scans per month. As long as you stay within those limits, there are no additional charges to have your mail scanned. Most customers fit comfortable on the Basic Plan and that is the plan we recommend you start with as you can change plans at any time.
All Traveling Mailbox plans are very flexible. First of all, anything you mark as “Junk” is shredded for free and does not count towards your plan limits. However, if you receive more envelopes than your plan allows for, it is $0.25 per additional envelope. If you exceed your monthly page scan allotment, it is $0.50 per additional page scan. The Extended and Small Business Plans will rollover unused scans to the following month for additional flexibility.
