Latest Traveling Mailbox Updates


Greetings!

Lately we have been working very hard here at Traveling Mailbox improving our services! Here are some of our latest updates:

  1. Server Updating – We have increased sever capacity to handle all of the new customers that we have been adding to the service!
  2. Increased Operating Hours – We have recently adjusted our operating hours to process more mail during the daytime hours. We now process mail from 6am to 12am EST Monday thru Friday and Saturday & Sunday from 7am to 7pm EST. We may adjust these hours slightly on the weekends in the coming weeks but the weekday schedule is set in stone. We have increased our customer service hours for phone, live chat, and email.   3. Continuous Updating on the USPS Form 1583 – We have overhauled our entire USPS Form 1583 process and we are finally making good ground. We have worked out most of the bugs and we are seeing the success out of the new process.
  4. New Email Sending – This is a big one. For awhile we have had several issues with different mail providers (primarily due to the amount of emails we send) marking us spam which has been causing email delivery issues. We have now moved this service to a new platform which handles this for us which should greatly improve this process. We also have a lot of new tools of looking into email deliveries to all customers which we are very excited about.
  5. New Status Page – Communication with all customers is a top priority here at Traveling Mailbox. We have launched a new Status page which can be view at http://status.travelingmailbox.com. There are also new status updates posted in the footer of our main website, on the support page, and on the login page of Online Mailbox. 

These are just a few of the updates we have been working on. There are a ton of other things going on behind the scenes to make the service more reliable and more robust. Here are some of the things we hope to offer in the coming months:

  1. Fax Services – This service is pretty much there and all Extended and Small Business Accounts have access to their Fax number in the My Account section of their online mailbox. Soon we hope to have this feature completely built into the interface so customers can send faxes out this way. 
  2. Mail a Letter – Currently, customers can email us a PDF and we can print it out and mail it anywhere. However, we soon hope to have this feature built into the online interface. 
  3. App – We are still exploring our opportunities here and believe we can have an app out soon.
